TechSource, Inc Hiring for RF Engineer (DC) Full Time

Your Opportunity:

TechSource is seeking candidates to submit for a proposal performing multidisciplinary Blue Team assessment work on behalf of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). Blue Team assessments aim to ensure continuity to DoD missions and critical infrastructure by assessing infrastructure vulnerabilities against a broad spectrum of threats including accidents, natural disasters, technological failure, information system attacks, terrorists, radio frequency weapons (RFW), sabotage, and weapons of mass destruction (WMD).

As a RF engineer you will conduct vulnerability assessments. You will also provide recommendations for mitigating and/or eliminating identified vulnerabilities. You will be working at DTRA Headquarters in Ft. Belvoir, VA, as well as traveling CONUS and OCONUS for assessments.

What You Will Do:

• Conduct assessments of defense critical infrastructure to locate and determine vulnerabilities
• Apply RF design and engineering principles to evaluate defense technologies which are spectrum sensitive or dependent
• Determine vulnerability or threat vector root causes
• Provide expert advice on development, integration, and operation of spectrum specific countermeasures
• Collaborate with Blue Team members on assessment activities
• Document and communicate analysis findings

What You Will Need:

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
• MS in Physics, or Electrical Engineering with an Electromagnetics focus
• 3 years of experience as an RF, Microwave, or EM engineer
• Ability to work in a team environment and a strong desire to learn
• Strong organizational and written communication skills
• Ability to travel both domestically and internationally (approximately 25%)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $160,000.00 – $230,000.00 per year
