Job Description

Industrial cleaning of equipment, using hand tools, and cleaning applications.

Must be able to climb in and out of the machines and drums.

Must be okay with heights and crawling in small tight spaces

Takes personal responsibility for ensuring a safe work place.

Wears all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including hearing protection, protective eyewear, full face mask and safety shoes.

Establishes and maintains good housekeeping standards in all work areas.

Attends all required training.

Performs industrial cleaning on all equipment throughout the facility.

Maintain clean equipment.

Must be able to work with minimum supervision, with self-directed work skills.

Qualifications

1-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Experience with working at heights.

Forklift experience.

Good oral and written communication skills

This is a physically demanding position. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (23kg). Manual dexterity, teamwork, hand-eye co-ordination and a combination of sitting, standing and walking required.
