Objective

• Assist Plant Controller with preparing financial information and reports by compiling information, and utilizing appropriate internal accounting control procedures.

Essential Accountabilities

• Compile financial information and document business transactions.
• Analyzes data, resolves issues and investigate root cause.
• Perform Financial Analysis of Labor and payroll costs.
• Prepare and review expense, and other accounting documents.
• Prepare reports for management review (BOR, M.O.M, ECE, etc).
• Reconcile Monolith and Directed Buy pricing, must interpret cost changes to produce an inventory revaluation.
• Process financial internal control monthly
• Compile data and prepare a variety of reports.
• Recommends actions to resolve discrepancies.
• Investigates questionable data.

Work Experience

• Bachelors’ degree in Accounting, Finance or Business required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working in an accounting role – with emphasis on Inventory Accounting and Expense Reporting and Labor.
• SAP experience preferred
• Strong Excel skills.

Technical Expertise

• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
• Ability to apply mathematical concepts and operations, including calculations, percentages, etc.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and write simple correspondence.
• Analytical- Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data.
• Business Acumen- Understands business implications of decisions.
• Strives to continuously improve expertise, knowledge and skills.
