Tech Search Associates Limited Looking for Senior Quantity Surveyor at Calvert Full Time

We are recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a successful Main Contractor in Buckinghamshire.
The successful applicant should be highly motivated and practical with excellent communication and presentation skills, and a strong track record of delivery within the civil engineering industry.
The civils works will include demolition, remediation, earthworks, embankments, plots, roads, drainage, 278 works, paving, bridging etc. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working for a Principal Contractor.
 
Responsibilities:

• Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager you will be responsible for project commercial deliverables on high value projects.
• Work closely with Quantity Surveyor/Assistant
• Reporting Tendering sub-contract work packages and ensuring new sub-contractors are set up on the system
• You will provide accurate forecasting
• Provide project updates including forecast expenditure, programme updates, disputes, change management, contract management
• Value management.
• Work with the procurement team to support in supply chain negotiations.
• Risk & Opportunity Management

 
Requirements

• Experience of managing project commercial deliverables on projects at a high value.
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying
• RICS accreditation is desirable
• NEC Contract experience
• Strong understanding and knowledge of civil engineering

 
Remuneration
This role offers a Basic Salary of up to £65,000 DOE, plus car allowance including Pension & 15% bonus per annum along with other employee benefits.
