About the role:
As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll be focused on attracting, assessing and onboarding returning engineers to our core and award-winning programme – Your Return to Tech.
You’ll engage with our returners, with a focus on creating a supportive and comfortable interview environment that helps people to shine and seeing people’s potential. You will research community events and the returner, software engineer and diverse technology industries and immerse yourself in the UK tech scene as a key part of your role to reach more potential applicants and share our vision

As the Talent Acquisition Specialist you will use your excellent resourcing, assessment and onboarding skills on multiple Your Return to Tech programmes a year, you’ll work alongside Talent, Marketing, Operations and Delivery teams in a Squad format to attract software engineers who are returning to work following a career break. They’ll support you on marketing content, programme scheduling and technical assessments of the returners to make sure were onboarding Software Engineers in line with our Sponsor skills matrix and behaviours.

About you:
With 1-3 years’ experience within a recruitment/resourcing role, you will have a passion for technology and Diversity & Inclusion. You’ll be experienced at engaging with technology professionals via social media, interviewing individuals and be confident in presenting our programmes to the returners.
As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll be tasked with attracting, sourcing, selecting, and supporting the programme participants who will join our Your Return to Tech, delivered across the UK.
Working in a fast-paced environment you’ll need to be driven, a problem solver, focused, conscientious, commercially astute, a great communicator and above all passionate about the work you do.
You’ll be working as part of a supportive, remote-based team and you’ll have the flexibility to work around any family or personal commitments. We offer a flexible working policy, with remote-first working, a co-working budget and a requirement that means you will be required to be in Manchester at least twice per month for team meetings.
If successful, you will receive a great onboarding experience with our team, and the relevant initial and ongoing training and support to excel in your role.
