The role of client partner is a key Client facing role. This is the single point of contact for the customer for an account. The role requires thorough understanding of Media and Publishing Industry including educational and trade book, newspaper, magazine, journal publishing, managing and building client relationship, understanding of customers business needs, applicable solutions, knowledge of commercials, working with large teams, strong project management and risk management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and building client relationships effectively at C-Suite level/ at EVP/VP
• Establish relationship and rapport with customers by working as consulting adviser by demonstrating understanding of Media and Publishing Industry including educational and trade book, newspaper, magazine, journal publishing
• Ownership of Revenue and profit growth targets
• Create strategy for revenue growth in customer accounts with support from other operating units of the organization
• Lead the key strategic opportunities for the pipeline closure
• Ensure adequate balance between Demand Creation and Demand Capture opportunities, while realizing TCV targets
• Ensures customer requirements are determined and met appropriately with the aim of enhancing customer satisfaction
• Continuously monitors critical program and take corrective actions to meet customers’ expectations
• Provide oversight to key programs and customer escalations management, as needed
• Apply change, risk and resource management principles when needed
• Ensure program operations and activities adhere to legal guidelines and internal policies
• Team Management: Identifies & Assigns appropriate roles to the direct reports. Set reasonable, challenging, and clear performance goals for direct reports, monitor performance and provide appropriate feedback.
• Fosters continuous improvement of the employee satisfaction index
• Provide leadership and guidance to all the team members
• Keep senior management informed

Qualifications:

• Must be experienced and able to demonstrate having worked effectively at C-Suite level/ at EVP/VP and has delivered significant results.
• Deep experience working in Media and Publishing Industry in specific educational and trade book, newspaper, magazine, journal publishing. Some experience of entertainment industry will be nice to have.
• Ability to think strategically and should have played customer facing roles with ownership of financial growth targets
• Strong experience in selling and managing IT outsourcing solutions across services landscape (Applications, Infrastructure, Digital) within customer organizations
• Experience working with and leading the large teams
• Effective leadership with results orientation and strong relationship skills with proven track record
• Understanding of Industry/Business and Digital/Technology Trends, with the ability to assess the impact of Technology on Business Drivers and vice-versa
• Highly effective facilitation, coaching and mentoring skills
• Possesses excellent understanding of key deal structures and formats and able to articulate the same to the customers
• Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
• Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and key metrics
• An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills
