TEC is a data science company that uses big data to analyze and predict opportunities in the energy market. With data at the heart of our operations and decisions, our innovative approach combines our fundamental understanding of markets with different technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning. We are looking for a software developer to build and deploy software using multiple languages and technologies. You will be responsible for creating applications from scratch, configuring existing systems and providing user support. We are looking for a team player who is also an excellent communicator. Responsibilities

Develop various applications and solutions (existing and new) to automate the entire data pipeline: acquisition, import, storage and processing of data in the database

Build tools and solutions to automatically verify data integrity and quality

Participate in requirements analysis and software design

Write clean, scalable code using programming languages such as C#, Python and SQL

Test and deploy applications and systems

Revise, update, refactor and debug code

Improve existing software

Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support

Requirements

Proven experience as a software developer

Experience programming in C#, Python and/or other related languages

Familiarity with web resources and APIs such as REST APIs

Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

Attention to detail

BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
