Role: MES Automation Engineer

Location: Remote -ONLY US Citizens

Duration: Long term Contract

• As a Test Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our existing Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software through the design and development of automation test frameworks and scripts. Your primary responsibility will be to create and execute automated tests, utilizing your expertise in programming languages and test management skills to achieve comprehensive test coverage and optimize testing processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement the best test solutions and ensure the smooth integration of continuous integration and continuous delivery methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop automation test frameworks and scripts to perform automated tests on the MES software

• Utilize your in-depth knowledge of programming languages (JAVA, JavaScript, C#, Python) to develop and debug test automation scripts

• Employ various test automation frameworks, including data-driven, keyword-driven, and behavior-driven approaches

• Effectively manage test processes and test coverage to identify and eliminate bottlenecks.

• Demonstrate strong technical skills to execute the test strategy effectively

• Lead and mentor junior Test Engineers to foster a collaborative, high-performing testing team

• Employ your expertise in using Tricentis (Tosca) and other automation test tools to enhance testing efficiency

• Worked with Solumina Manufacturing Execution System and SQL Databases for data validation and querying

• Utilize Test Management tools like Tricentis, Zephyr, Jira, etc., to track and test progress

• Conduct various types of testing, including Functional, Automation, Manual, End-to-End (E2E), Integration, and Acceptance testing

• Analyze software requirements to create test acceptance criteria and translate them into test cases and scenarios for automation

• Work with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, and Bitbucket to integrate testing into the development process

• Familiarity with Agile Methodology (SCRUM, SAFe) to align testing activities with development iterations

• Demonstrate a proactive, self-motivated, and independent style to deliver high-quality work within tight schedules

• Communicate effectively through excellent verbal and written skills, collaborating with team members at various levels to find solutions

• Coach and mentor team members on test automation tools and coding practices

• Possess relevant certifications related to test automation as an added advantage

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $60.00 – $70.00 per hour
