The Opportunity
We are seeking energetic & passionate individuals to join our OSHC Educator team in our programs based in the South Eastern / Bayside Suburbs of Melbourne, as part of a Traineeship program.

This means that you will study your Diploma of School Aged Education & Care, and work part-time in one of our Before, After & Holiday programs. TeamKids will cover the cost of your enrolment (by reimbursement after your first unit is completed), and furthermore, we will pay you to study for an additional 1.5 hours a week over and above your working hours!

As an Educator, your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of the children in our programs.
• Supporting and facilitating creative experiences & activities that wholeheartedly engage children.
• Cultivating a welcoming and nurturing environment.
• Playing and having FUN with primary school aged children.
• Preparing nutritious food for the children and maintain a clean environment.
• Building a positive rapport with a wide number of customers, including primary aged children, their parents & guardians, your own teammates, or even the school principal.
• Shifts are generally between 7.00am – 9.00am and 3.00pm – 6.00pm during term time and longer day shifts during school holidays.

About You

• You thrive in a fast paced environment, and you love kids and having fun. In fact you could still be a big kid at heart.
• You have excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and most importantly, a can-do attitude!
• Have a genuine interest in creating incredible experiences for primary-aged children
• You hold a current WWCC (Employee), or willing to obtain
• Strong commitment to further your career with TeamKids
