TeachCast LLC Hiring for Online English Instructor – ESL at Remote Full Time

TeachCast LLC is hiring fun and engaging online instructors to work from home for the 2022-2023 school year starting in August. Evening and overnight shifts are available. Pay is $12-14/hour DOE. Teachers must live in the United States.

We provide a stable environment for our teachers. Teachers have set schedules and are paid by the shift and not by the class.

Our teachers are hired as W-2 employees, and we pay via direct deposit biweekly.

The Role

As an online ESL instructor, the primary duty, is to teach students in an engaging manner. Teachers must be self-driven, energetic, and have a desire to work with people from around the world.

The Classes

We work with schools throughout Indonesia and are part of their mandatory English program during their school day.

We teach classroom classes with up to 35 students.

Students range from kindergarten through adults.

Easy lesson prep! All classes are assigned a lesson plan and slides using content from Oxford University Press.

Requirements

This role is remote and US based for teachers who are living in one of the following states: AL, AK, AZ, AR, CO, DE, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, MN, MS, MO, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, NC,ND, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WV, WI, WY.

Education: Associate degree minimum

The Shifts

We offer set schedules that are 20 hours a week. View your time zone below for open shifts.

Eastern Time Shifts:
A: Sunday – Friday early morning: 9 pm – 1 am

B: Monday- Friday: 1 am – 5 am

Central Time Shifts:
A: Sunday – Thursday: 8 pm – 12 am

B: Monday – Friday: 12 am – 4 am

Arizona Time Shifts:
A: Sunday – Thursday: 6 pm – 10 pm

B: Sunday night – Friday early morning: 10 pm – 2 am

Mountain Time Shifts:
A: Sunday – Thursday: 7 pm – 11 pm

B: Sunday night – Friday early morning: 11 pm – 3 am

Pacific Time Shifts:
A: Sunday – Thursday: 6 pm – 10 pm

B: Sunday- Friday early morning: 10 pm – 2 am

Hawaii Time Shifts:
A: Sunday – Thursday: 3 pm – 7 pm

B: Sunday – Thursday: 7 pm – 11 pm

Technology Requirements:
Instructors must meet our broadband and computer standards to teach from home.

• Bandwidth: Minimum speeds of 3 Mbps upload and 3 Mbps download are required.

Processor must be 2.0 GHz (dual core), 2.8 GHz (single core), or better

Memory (RAM): 4 GB or more
