Full Job Description

1ST GRADE TEACHER – LAKEVIEW ELEMENTARY


2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR

The Solon Community School District is in search of a 1st grade Teacher at Lakeview Elementary. The successful candidate will join an experienced and passionate 1st grade team. We are looking for an educator with the following characteristics:

  • Reflective about instructional practices;
  • Strong ability to collaborate with other professionals;
  • Ability to foster strong relationships with studetns, parents, and colleagues;
  • Student centered;
  • Familiarity or experience with strong balanced literacy practices (i.e. guided reading, writers workshop, mini-lessons, etc.)
  • Data-based decision-making skills; and
  • Experience with integrating digitial learning concepts.
