Job Summary:
A successful candidate will work closely with schools to design and implement authentic learning experiences for teachers and students by providing resources, modeling effective instructional strategies, growing partnerships with businesses and working with Future Ready team to ensure supports for career awareness, exploration, preparation and training through all tiers of the Pk-12 system.

Education/Experience:
Master’s degree in administration, career/technical education, or related field preferred

Iowa Teaching License; Multi-Occupations endorsement preferred

Successful experience with work based learning programming design and delivery

Prior experience should include skills in blended and project based learning and instructional design

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of available supports and resources (specifically the AEA Learning Online personalized learning system, AEA PREP, Authentic Learning Network, Future Ready Iowa Clearinghouse, The Center, Intermediary Units, etc).

Strong interpersonal skills to connect LEA staff and business partners with one another to support the wide range post-secondary opportunities available to students

Knowledge of current practice in authentic learning pedagogy and project-based learning

Knowledge of local school district (LEA) vision, culture, and operations

Ability to manage projects, including planning and carrying out steps required for completion

Ability and willingness to be flexible and respond to the changing needs of clients.

Strong organizational and communication skills a must.
