Job Overview

TE’s Talent Acquisition teams evaluate TE’s ability to recruit and select the desired employees and develop, implement and monitor the programs and processes used in recruitment and selection. They source, recruit, screen, interview and recommend external and/or internal candidates to staff open requisitions. They also utilize the services of employment agencies and/or place employment ads in appropriate sources, including the intranet, Internet and print media.
The teams are responsible for developing and implementing recruiting plans and administering talent management efforts and employee referral programs, managing the resume tracking system and ensuring consistent corporate image throughout recruiting campaigns.

Your Role

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is an integral role supporting the recruiting function and contributes to the overall success of the team by providing a high-level candidate and customer experience, administrative support, and delivering operational excellence to the organization. This will include system support, data and process management, as well as hiring process coordination and improvements to ensure the highest level of candidate experience. This role will require onsite presence activity supporting the TE Tullahoma, Tennessee location.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for full cycle coordination of the interview process, guiding candidates and hiring managers through complex interview scheduling and coordination.
• Supports onsite talent acquisition recruiter with job postings and candidate follow up throughout the recruitment process.
• As needed, source and review resumes, as well as screen applicants/candidates
• Manages the local recruitment agency relationship for contract hiring needs.
• Assist with the system setup and onboarding administration of contract conversions and hires.
• Identify and help lead initiatives that drive hiring efficiencies and improvements to our recruitment efforts.
• Assist in all pre-employment screening tasks (background check, candidate pre-hire task follow-up, etc.)
• Manage the reporting of new hires, terms, contract labor, and HC numbers.
• Responsible for all New Hire orientation administrative items (I-9, badges, ADP registration, benefits orientation, etc.)
• Promote our employer brand by participating in internal and external recruiting events.
• Assist with other recruitment tasks as needed. Related administrative responsibilities and miscellaneous projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in talent acquisition and/or human resources.
• Highly motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as with the team.
• Is proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Teams, and other systems as necessary.
• Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, including a proficiency in clear, concise, and compelling oral and written communication.
• Being a champion in the candidate experience.
• Must possess the ability to multi-task frequently.
