Our Support Engineers take a proactive approach to providing technical solutions and hands-on support for hardware and software systems for our customers. Smart Support, our entire support team, rely on our Support Engineer to be the boots on the ground to support our customers; that and so much more.

We expect our support Engineers to be able to:

• Install desktops, servers and network hardware
• Work confidently in our data centers
• Troubleshoot, and where possible, repair faulty equipment
• Resolve user requests either in person or remotely
• Travel to customer sites across the UK for support or project work

• Strong communicators and personable with the ability to connect and build relationships both with their peers at TDM and with the users we support

Experience and qualifications required to work with us are:

• A bachelor or associate degree in Engineering relevant to the industry
• At least 1-2 years’ experience in an IT support role
• Certifications such as MCP, MCITP, A+ and CCENT
• Good Hardware Knowledge – PC’s, Laptops, Servers
• Knowledge in Windows Server 2008, 2012; Microsoft Office, Networking, Active Directory, Apple/MAC devices, Citrix, desktop operating systems (Windows 7, 8 & 10; MAC OSX)
