We are looking for a hands-on and enthusiastic Finance and Office Manager to drive through best practices across financial control and reporting and build a solid foundation for future growth as well as to be an integral part of the smooth running and management of the office.

Job Purpose: *
You are responsible for managing the day-to-day finance function, as well as providing key business support and analysis and ensure the smooth running of an office.

Roles and Responsibilities*

• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions
• Support the month-end procedures and prepare reports
• Managing Accounts payable and accounts receivable
• VAT returns
• Assist in the budget process where appropriate within the business
• Maintain financial policies and procedures for the company
• Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation
• Responsible for credit control
• Proactively seek to improve process and procedures
• Prepare and maintain cash flow reports
• Line-management of Accounts Assistant
• Multi-currency bank account reconciliations

Office Manager duties

• Manage office suppliers
• Manage facilities in the office to run smoothly
• Meet & greet visitors to the office
• Meeting room preparation for visitor meetings
• Induction and orientation for new employees

• Keep a stock of office supplies and place orders when necessary

• Coordinating office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
• Ensure the office comply with security, Fire, Health & Safety requirements
• Assist HR with organisation of local company events

Skills and Experience

• A minimum of two years experience in a similar role

• Degree educated
• Accounting qualification (ACCA part-qualified/finalist preferred)
• Xero knowledge beneficial
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Excellent Time Management Skills
• Strong Record-Keeping Skills
