TDB Communications Hiring for FT Talent Advocate at Washington, DC Full Time

Capitol Bridge is seeking a full-time Talent Advocate to join our team in Washington DC. Our employees have been entrusted with helping the business of state and local government work better for our customers and ultimately the residents of the District of Columbia.

This is a full-time position, Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.

Base Rate: To Be Determined

Duties

• Conduct outreach to local employer community, identifying interview and job placement opportunities for program participants.
• Cultivate strategic and sustainable partnerships with a wide range of community leaders, job sectors and area employers.   
• Advocate and assist in obtaining employment opportunities and benefits for diverse populations.
• Connect participants to relevant job opportunities that provide mutually beneficial relationships and align with strengths and interests.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to provide tailored onboarding support.
• Serve as a resource for program participants as they navigate the job search and interview process onboarding process

Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business management or related field is preferred
• Knowledge of community resources and referral process preferred.
• Strong personal communication skills; ability to build relationships with individuals at varying levels.
• Ability to interact and work collaboratively in a flexible work environment with a variety of constituents and colleagues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
