As HR Operations & Benefits Manager you will be responsible for delivering a first class benefits, HR administration and payroll service, including accurate and reliable Management information to drive sound decision making. Some of the key duties in this role will include payroll leadership, benefits leadership, annual benefits reviews, strategy plans/harmonisation and reporting & analysis.
Accountabilities:
Deliver accurate and reliable management information into the business
Develop and maintain effective and collaborative working relations with the HR team and key stakeholders
Country/Regional HR Operational lead for EMEA projects and activities
Partner with HR Management as operational SME
Deliver high quality analysis and reporting
Identify and implement continual process and systems improvements
Ensure employees are paid correctly and on time
Fully adhering to legislation, compliance and audit control procedures and Service Level Agreements
Escalation of all senior and/or complex payroll and benefits queries
Annual renewal and negotiations of all company benefits
Management of Directors Commission/Bonus calculations and payments
Annual Payroll/HR Audits – Internal and External
Manage the relationship with payroll and benefit providers ensuring cost efficiencies at all times
Collaborative relationship with the finance team for all SG&A matters
Involvement in quarterly payroll forecasting through the internal payroll forecasting tool alongside the SG&A Controller
Commission and bonus tool expert and knowledge base
Compensation and benefits lead for the country/region
Lead key strategic project/activities as required
Knowledge Skills and Experience:
Numerate and highly analytical
Experience of working in a HR environment
Previous people management experience
Effective at building good working relationships internally and externally
Commercial understanding and financial awareness
Knowledge of statutory and technical aspects of payroll/benefits whilst monitoring new legislation and system upgrades/developments
Drives continuous improvements in all organisational processes
Ability to apply knowledge and experience to complex issues
Self-motivated and self-starter
Excellent communication & organisational skills
Good working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Expert in Workday, SAP HR and the local payroll system
Location – Basingstoke
