We are looking for a talented and experienced HR Advisor to join our HR team on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

As HR Advisor, you will focus on delivering excellent service to our UK & Ireland co-workers. You are the first point of contact for the HR department, providing empathetic and professional advice across all levels. You won’t be phased by administrative tasks, you will have excellent knowledge of HR systems and processes, great business sense and be able to demonstrate people skills & knowledge in an HR advisory role.
This is a varied and fast-paced role, which requires accuracy, energy and outstanding communication skills. A key requirement of this position is to have the ability to solve problems, to make things happen and to be highly organised.
Accountabilities:
Ensures accuracy and completeness of workforce information in Workday (HR information system)
Facilitates compensation process and benefits administration by partnering with payroll and first line managers
Supports the recruitment process, leading onboarding activities and facilitating local inductions
Manages the starter and leaver processes, including raising offer letters and contracts as well as conducting exit interviews
Proactively leads with absence management cases to manage absence levels as required by the Company to include liaison with Health professionals as required
Enable and coach managers to successfully resolve all employee relations issues, be the specialist in this area including disciplinary, grievance, performance management
Manage day to day employee queries and provide support via telephone, by email and in person
Support all succession planning and talent management initiatives
Ensure all employee reporting is provided in a timely and accurate manner
Interprets and leverages data/information to draw conclusions and communicate patterns/trends that drive firm insights
Engage with and support the HR Business Partners (HRBP’s) with change management projects; restructure, redundancies, redeployment
Ensure compliance with policy, procedures and current legislation
Knowledge Skills and Experience:
Previous experience of working within an HR Advisory role
Proven and wide-ranging experience with employee relations and day to day HR practices
High organisation, prioritisation skills and attention to detail who works well under pressure
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and excellent presentation skills
Ability to work with virtual teams
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
A proactive approach with the curiosity to learn and develop knowledge
HR additional qualification preferred, though not essential
Good country Employment law knowledge
Location – Basingstoke but with occasional travel to other UK office locations
