Digital Project Manager Position:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven digital project manager to lead the development of our client’s web-based projects. The successful candidate will collaborate with our creative, technology and digital teams on new website conceptualization, guide the team through the product development stages, and oversee deployment of web products.
To ensure success in this role, you will possess extensive experience in website project management and show demonstrated ability to lead web development initiatives from start to finish. You will have extensive time management, organization, communication and problem-solving skills to collaborate with the client/project teams and launch websites and platforms according to scope, schedule and budget.
Responsibilities of the Digital Project Manager position include:
Oversee the project management of web design/development and other creative projects (e.g., website/software development, branding, conversion rate optimization etc.) by managing client and internal teams at every stage of the product development cycle, building project plans/timelines, and ensuring the timely and successful delivery of products in accordance with project scope, budget, objectives and timelines.
Consult with internal/external stakeholders to determine the website’s desired appearance and functionalities.
Create deadlines and action items for every project team member, lead daily or weekly project team meetings to review progress and write project status reports for the team and key executives.
Strategize and offer solutions to clients where there is an opportunity for the client to generate better business performance.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients; answer and quickly respond to client emails and phone calls; lead client meetings; deliver progress/performance reports.
Proactively identify product and service issues and resolve them expeditiously.
Work with the development, digital, creative, and content teams to consistently improve client websites and campaigns for optimal success and to better serve the overall success of the given strategy.
Partner with tbk’s leadership to develop strategy, participate in sales and consulting meetings and assist in the creation of Statements of Work.
Manage account budgets mindfully and successfully.
Skills required for the Digital Project Manager position include:
Prior experience working at a web/marketing agency in a project/account management role.
Successful completion of a post-secondary program in a relevant field (e.g., IT, marketing, public relations, communications, business).
At least four (4) years of experience in professional-client relationships and project management.
Demonstrated ability to devise and implement digital and web strategies that benefit clients.
Proven ability to lead the management of web, and creative projects; delivering top-quality work in accordance with project scopes, budgets, and timelines.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment; able to effectively prioritize, escalate and follow through on expected deliverables in accordance with deadlines and urgent matters.
Exceptional relationship management skills; ability to listen, understand, empathize, communicate constructively and connect well with clients.
Employs a strong understanding of web/digital analytics and uses such knowledge to glean meaningful insights and deliver strategic recommendations to improve website/platform performance.
Above-average skill in Microsoft Office’s suite of software including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong familiarity with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics platforms.
Experience building and implementing on-site and off-site SEO strategies for clients.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
