Responsibilities:

Customer Development

• Take the lead in managing and developing relationships with our key customers.
• Craft and execute both short-term and long-term business strategies.
• Utilize your extensive experience to create joint business planning models.
• Ensure flawless execution of annual plans, delivering top-line results and key financial metrics.
• Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
• Lead annual negotiations to optimize partnership agreements.
• Drive the development and implementation of customer selling stories, focusing on key execution metrics.
• Oversee ongoing account updates, identify gaps, and provide recommendations for success.
• Cultivate external relationships to enhance market positioning.

System Leadership

• Participate in system routines to provide customer updates and performance insights.
• Collaboration across vendors to maximize customer plans.
• Foster relationships

Cross Functional Communication and Collaboration

• Provide ongoing updates on customer plan results to management.
• Participate in key cross-functional routines to ensure flawless program execution.
• Offer customer input to annual plans, including Marketing, Commercial, and Innovation plans.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience.
• 5 years of direct sales experience in the CPG industry with a strong track record.
• Proven ability to develop collaborative strategic relationships with national retailers.
• Proficiency in utilizing and interpreting syndicated data for data-driven storytelling.
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and results-oriented with an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and adaptability.
• Passion for brand building, new products, and long-term growth.
• Established network of contacts with buyers and divisional managers.
• Strong computer skills in Outlook, Power Point, Excel, and Word.
• Understanding of Nielsen/IRI syndicated data.
• Willingness to travel extensively (50%) by car and plane.
• Ability to attend bi-annual company retreats and meetings.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive long distances, with a clean Motor Vehicle Record per Company standards.
