Work closely with the regional strategic land teams to ensure their financial reporting needs are met
Ensuring financial control through monthly ledger and preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
Maintaining and updating the schedule of sites due for transfer to the Regional Business Units and instigating the transfers as and when required.
Maintaining and updating the redundant asset portfolio schedule on a monthly basis.
Assisting the Strategic Land Management accountant with the production of the monthly reporting.
What you will have:
Ability to demonstrate financial control and monitoring of all spend.
Ability to handle urgent requests for payments and conflicting demands on time whilst still meeting monthly deadlines
AAT qualified or equivalent
Relevant experience within an accounting function, preferably with exposure to analytical and control processes.
Good previous experience of spreadsheet analysis in a financial environment (intermediate Excel).

Our regional Strategic Land teams are responsible for sourcing, appraising and gaining planning consent on complex land acquisitions across the UK. They support our regional land teams to secure key land that contributes to Taylor Wimpey groups land bank. They are critical to the supply of for our local business units. From our head office in High Wycombe, our group finance team support them around forecasting, budgets and preparation of other land and planning records in order to meet monthly deadlines.
