Sourcing Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Assist in gathering, updating, and maintaining a high volume of purchase requests from different departments; Communicate with departments on sourcing status
• Gather, review, and proceed with internal purchase-related documents
• Assist with product development, sourcing, and fulfilling purchasing timelines
• Contact vendors to obtain quotes, create purchase orders for vendors, follow up on POs and updating ETAs in the system or internal documents
• Manage sample shipments to and from vendors; receive, categorize, and manage physical samples
• Logistics tracking and inform the warehouse of incoming shipments, ensure that the orders received are accurate and are not damaged
• Submit payment requests
• Assist procurement team in monitoring safety inventory for purchased items
• Organize products for meetings and photoshoots

Qualifications:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 2+ years of administrative or related experience.
• Bilingual Mandarin is required.
• Experience with SAP is strongly preferred.
• Proficient skill in using Excel or other ERP accounting systems experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite products.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to collaborate with internal and external team members, stakeholders, and suppliers.
• Exceptional organizational and attention to detail skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt quickly to new situations with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times

Salary:

The pay range for this job starts from $20 per hour. This is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
