Taubensee Steel & Wire Co Hiring for Accounts Payable Clerk – Hybrid Job at Wheeling, IL Full Time

POSITION SUMMARY

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for complying and maintaining accounts payable records by performing transactional duties.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES

• Prepares accounts payable checks and coordinates process
• Prints accounts payable reports and maintains accounts payable files
• Processes/prepares daily invoicing
• Processes pre-invoicing changes to Sales orders
• Checks and approves vouchers for payment (raw material, standard expenses, and select others)
• Prepares invoice deduction notices
• Audits freight bills against freight manifests
• Answer vendor inquiries and analyze vendor accounts

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent education required, Associate’s degree preferred
• 1-2 years accounting experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills – must be able to multi task
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Computer literacy with strong Microsoft Office Suite, ERP system and 10 key skills
• Attention to detail, self-motivated and a team player is essential
