Tatum / Randstad Hiring for FP&A Analyst Job at Concord, NC Full Time

Our Concord based client within the construction industry is searching for a temp-to-hire FP&A analyst to join their team. This individual will support the internal budget, forecasting, and backlog processes, complete project analysis, prepare financial reports and presentations, perform ad-hoc analysis, and provide subject matter expertise for the ERP system. This is an in-office opportunity expected to last for a minimum of three to six months, with high probability of conversion dependent on performance. Please see below for a detailed job description.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

· Support the forecast and budget process and recommend initiatives for standardization to improve reliability and accuracy.

· Lead the budget and forecast data upload process into the ERP system and maintain data integrity.

· Perform monthly P&L variance analysis.

· Preparation of financial reporting and presentations for the leadership team, board of directors, and investor group.

· Establish and maintain efficient workflows, processes, and procedures to reduce or eliminate manual activities and redundant data entry. Identify problems or inefficiencies and recommend improvements to leverage the ERP.

· Review and analyze project estimates and forecasts as needed to provide accurate projections.

· Support and provide initiatives to improve backlog calculation process.

· Develop and maintain interactive dashboard to provide real-time financial analysis.

· Additional responsibilities and ad-hoc analysis as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting

· 3+ years of FP&A experience

· Experience manually preparing budgets, forecasting, performing cost analysis, and financial modeling

· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

· Strong working knowledge of ERPs and proven experience creating value-added reports and dashboards

Pay: $45.00 – $55.00 per hour
