Job Description:

• The Strategic Communications Manager is a pivotal role, managing all facets of the media, public relations, social media, content and internal comms function.
• As a member of the marketing team, you will be responsible for managing a series of marketing programs. You will combine strategic thinking with practical application and engage with key stakeholders. As well as being a mentor and coach to junior team members.
• The core focus of this role is to provide strategic media and communication advice that promotes TCS as a leader in transformation and growth in Australia and New Zealand. This role s into the Head of Marketing and Communications, Australia and New Zealand.

To be successful in this role, the Strategic Communications Manager will have:

• Tertiary qualifications in communications, journalism or similar experience
• Strong influencing and mentoring capability. As well as effective agency engagement
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing media, communication and social strategies across Australia and New Zealand
• Exceptional written communications skills, with extensive experience writing for blogs, white papers, newsletters and social media
• Strong relationships with business and technology journalists across Australia and New Zealand
• Developed and launched thought leadership campaigns
• Execute and track performance and engagement of content and social campaigns across LinkedIN, Instagram, Twitter
• Extensive experience in issues and crisis management
• The willingness to act both strategically and operationally to deliver results
• A broad understanding of the Australian and New Zealand technology and professional services landscape would be advantageous
• Must be able to use CANVA suite
