Tasmanian Walking Company Hiring for Finance Officer Job at Hadspen Full Time

The Tasmanian Walking Company are proudly Tasmanian and have been walking for over 30 years to deliver unique experiences that connect guests to some of Tasmania’s most remote, wild, and special places. We are currently recruiting for a Full-time Finance Officer to join our ranks in our Central Office in Hadspen!

In the role your main focus will be to collaborate with other Finance team members to ensure all invoicing, payroll, and other financial administration activities are completed in a timely manner, whilst contributing to the smooth and efficient running of the Finance team. In doing so, you will have a particular focus on Accounts Payable, performing tasks such as processing payroll in addition to business credit card coding and bank reconciliations.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and accuracy, and will be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team to achieve goals.

They will further demonstrate the following skills and experience –

• 2 – 3 years Finance experience
• Cert III or IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping (or equivalent)
• Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and a high degree of computer literacy
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to display a high level of professionalism
• Superior time management skills with the ability to prioritize your workload and multi-task
• Tertiary Qualification (a degree or diploma in an accounting discipline) – DESIRABLE
• Be excited and passionate about Tasmanian tourism and the multi-day walking industry as a whole
