Hours per fortnight

Up to 73.5 hours – flexible options available.


Duties

  • Assist in the development of, and effectively communicate, a capability development strategy for the organisation and provide an annual learning plan that supports this strategy.
  • Provide advice to business areas and implement various initiatives to enhance people capability in line with the DPAC strategic plan.
  • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS), both in terms of content development and updates, as well as tracking and reporting on learning and development activities.
  • Organise training venues, logistics, transport, accommodation as required, to achieve efficient training attendance and delivery.
  • Produce written documents including reports, presentations, plans, proposals, promotional materials, articles and policy documents.
  • Prepare and present information to senior managers and others regarding human resources initiatives.
  • Support and coordinate the collection, analysis and dissemination of data.
  • Other duties as required to support delivery of the human resources business plan.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify capability development requirements and other workforce needs.
  • The incumbent can expect to be allocated duties, not specifically mentioned in this document, that are within the capacity, qualifications and experience normally expected from persons occupying positions at this classification level.
