Tasmanian Government Hiring for HR Services Officer Job at Strahan Full Time

In accordance with Tasmanian Public Health Directions, Health Workers must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to 8 January 2022. The Role:

• Provide advice and assistance to managers and staff on a diverse range of human resource services, specifically those associated with payroll and recruitment matters.
• Undertake the accurate, efficient, and effective processing of all transactions relating to the payment of salaries, including new employments, terminations, and all personnel movements, on a day to day basis.
• Accurately interpret and apply Award provisions in calculating and coding timesheets and liaise with managers and staff to resolve any issues arising.
• Manage and monitor recruitment processes to ensure selections are undertaken in a timely manner.
• Assist with establishment maintenance.

The Team:

• Working as a member of the Human Resource team in delivering an efficient and effective payroll service to managers and staff.
• Undertake the accurate, efficient, and effective processing of payroll transactions relating to the payment of salaries, including new employments, terminations, and all personnel movements, on a day to day basis.

Details of Appointment

Multiple, fixed term, full time, day work, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing ASAP for a period of 12 months

Salary: $65,721 to $71,156 pro-rata per annum + 10% superannuation

Salary range is in accordance with Health and Human Services (Tasmanian State Service) Award
