Duties

The Finance and Performance Manager is responsible for the management, coordination and delivery of accounting and reporting services to support the continuous improvement of the TasTAFE business model. The role contributes to supporting an improved culture of accountability for financial performance and the development, implementation, and co-ordination of appropriate business strategies to deliver efficient business functions, financial performance management, analysis and reporting for TasTAFE and the TasTAFE Board. A focus will be on assisting the Manager, Finance and Assets to deliver efficient business functions and reporting processes.

Essential Requirements

• Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment)

The Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Act 2013 requires persons undertaking work in a regulated activity to be registered. A regulated activity is a child related service or activity defined in the Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Regulations 2014. This registration must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of this may be checked at any time during employment.

Desirable Requirements

• CPA or CA qualified.
• Strong working knowledge of contemporary enterprise level financial systems
• Tertiary Financial or Business Qualifications
