The Role:

• Applications are invited for an advanced trainee in Endocrinology to join our friendly and supportive department. We have an excellent multidisciplinary team with diabetes nurse educators, dietitian, podiatry, and psychologist. You will have a broad range of experience in both general diabetes, antenatal care and general endocrinology. Trainees attend weekly unit meetings, bimonthly pituitary MDT meetings, bimonthly endocrine neck surgery MDT meetings, onsite specialist clinic and provide inpatient consultation service.

Launceston General Hospital, Department of Medicine

• This position will be accredited towards a Core Year in Endocrinology Advance Training for 12 months.

• You will be involved with providing inpatient and outpatient services, with both research and teaching opportunities. Applicants are required to have passed the RACP divisional written and clinical examinations.

Details of Appointment

Fixed term, full time shift work with on call, position working 80 hours per fortnight commencing from 6 February 2023 until 5 February 2024

Salary:

Medical Practitioner Level 5 – 11 $97,946 – $138,593 per annum

Plus 10.5% employer super contributions, relative award loadings and ability to salary package.
