Sr. Manager, Talent Partnerships and Influence Marketing

As Sr. Manager for Talent Partnerships and Influence, you will function as a Lead Strategist and be a part of our Creative Collaborations team where our role is to bring incremental value to – and reflect the values of our brand, business and guest by working with inspiring, inclusive and resonant partners. You will be responsible for leading the talent strategies within Talent and Influence with external partners ranging from emerging to celebrity. You will leverage these external voices as authorities in Beauty, Home, Style, etc.

Grounded in business strategy, you will take a deeply human approach to talent partnerships and ensure that all partnerships are mutually beneficial and are authentically connected to Target’s brand and business priorities. You will lead strategy development that enables our talent to deeper engage with our guests. Your expertise in uncovering and providing unique, unintuitive insights informed by our guest, cultural and trends research will fuel big ideas and innovation. You will lead a team of talent strategists and provide an environment that is inclusive and psychologically safe. In partnership with the Director of Talent, you will inspire a shared vision that will shape the future of influence here at Target.

About you:

• 8-10 years experience in brand strategy, creative strategy, or marketing planning
• Proven leader of people, with skills in delegation, management, collaboration, and ensures a positive and inclusive work environment
• Ability to build strong partnerships and negotiate across the organization to gain alignment.
• Ability to direct multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong creative and media acumen with an ability to write a compelling brief and work against a defined strategy
• Strategic thinker with experience synthesizing information to generate actionable insights
• Tenacity and courage to push and make the work better, while optimizing and learning from the results
• Deep Experience working with cross-functional teams & external partners.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to develop a talent strategy grounded in business context and insights
• Ability to facilitate and clarify project expectations, objectives and deliverables

• Ability to shape strategic narratives to gain buy in from marketing leaders and external partners
