The Analytics group at Tapestry is the center of excellence for data science and deep learning. Through the application of machine learning algorithms and intuitive interfaces and APIs, Analytics is transforming the way Tapestry employees make decisions and interact with our customers globally.

Primary Purpose: This SDE position will serve as a key contributor within Tapestry’s Analytics Engineering group, enabling the success of our people, our company and our brands through the development of human-centric, data-powered applications. This role reports to the Head of Engineering for Analytics, and will work collaboratively across all Tapestry brands globally.

A successful candidate in this role will leverage their experiences to:

• Lead the development and delivery of proprietary, internal-facing forecasting platforms
• Own the full-stack technical roadmap for the platform and suite of supporting APIs
• Work collaboratively with design, product management, and leadership to deliver the product roadmap
• Partner with brand stakeholders to facilitate usability testing and user feedback sessions
• Contribute to software engineering best practices globally across the organization

Qualified candidates will have:

• 3+ years of relevant software engineering experience with proven track record of product delivery
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical field
• Experience with JavaScript and frameworks such as React
• Experience working with containerized environments
• Experience in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
• Basic understanding of Agile methods and modern software development lifecycle

Other preferred qualifications include:

• Experience with a microservices architecture
• Experience working with remote development teams
• Basic understanding of serverless applications
• Interest in and/or experience with data science and machine learning applications
