Primary Purpose: The HR Coordinator will serve as an administrator of day-to-day human resource functions to support our operation’s hourly and salaried employees to achieve success in daily business operations. The HR Coordinator will play a key role in the launch of a new fulfillment center, onboarding and supporting our onsite teams with administrative tasks as it pertains concerns with recruitment, engagement, payroll and benefits questions, building and running reports, file management, etc.
Schedule: Weekday dayshift to start; must cover weekends when new shift is built out
Shift: 5 – 8hr shifts or 4- 10hr shifts
This role will report directly to the Sr. Manager of Human Resources.

Recruitment/Onboarding
Support hiring efforts in partnership with recruiting
Lead and conduct onboarding tasks, orientation presentations and paperwork
Engagement
Engage with leaders and employees on the floor
Prepare and manage ongoing engagement activities
Client Support
Actively pursue knowledge of clients business practices, policies, organization structure, roles and responsibilities to better understand the business
Build relationships with employees of all levels
HR General
Maintain accurate reporting measures for corrective actions, terminations, recruitment
Implement and sustain a filing system for employee records
Ongoing training and development initiatives
Be available and responsive to provide answers to common questions regarding benefits and payroll
Coaching people managers through policies and procedures
Employee Relations
Maintain positive employee relations environment through Tapestry’s Open Door Policy
Special Projects
Participate in and/or manage special projects as required
Participate in cross-functional HR projects
The accomplished individual will possess…
Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years’ experience in Human Resources field (preferred experience supporting a distribution and/or manufacturing organization)
HR experience required (recruitment, employee relations, coaching/counseling)
Excellent attention to detail, superior communication, customer service and follow-up skills
Knowledge of and experience with HR systems, competencies, and best practices
Flexible and adaptable to changing business requirements, demonstrating a high degree of urgency
Excellent computer proficiency: Word, Excel, and Internet proficiency
Flexibility to work weekends and evening shifts during holiday season or as business needs, required.
Exposure to manufacturing or fulfillment/distribution operations, a plus.
Bi-lingual Spanish, a plus.
