Description
TapClicks is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer experienced with automated testing to strengthen our team as well as help us build an industry-leading product suite and great culture. The ideal candidate is highly motivated and goal-driven with excellent problem-solving skills.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to fill a crucial role in our talented engineering organization. Strong communication skills are key, as you will regularly collaborate cross-functionally with other QA team members as well as the Engineering, Product, Design, and DevOps teams to create tests, identify defects, and follow through till issue resolution.

Why We Need You
We’re looking for a versatile QA Analyst who can:

• Write clean, high-quality, high-performance, automated tests
• Take ownership for the automated testing of significant functional areas within our products, from the creation, to running, updating, and overall management of tests.

• Comfortably switch between work on multiple tasks and different parts of a platform

• Participate in the review of tests created by fellow team members

• Mentor and assist other team members with their work

• Effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Skills and Attributes

• Ability to write modular, maintainable, and well thought out automated tests
• Effective use of various tools to perform high quality QA work
• Passion for helping deliver user experiences that delight customers
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Self-motivated, with a passion for learning and continuous self-improvement

Minimum Qualifications:

• A degree in a computing related discipline; or equivalent education plus experience.

• 4+ years of professional experience as a QA Analyst, Engineer, or similar position

• Experience working with JavaScript

• Strong experience working with test automation suites (Cypress, Selenium, or etc.)

• Practical experience with industry standard tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, or etc.)

• Experience with agile software development practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Cypress for QA test automation

• Experience with JavaScript unit testing frameworks, e.g. Jest, Jasmine or Mocha

• Experience creating automated tests for large SaaS platforms

• Experience working with multilingual teams with English as the common language

• Experience as the hands on technical lead of a small QA team

• Experience assisting with software releases
