Your role, as the Mountain Events Manager, is to oversee the planning, creation, execution, and follow-up of public events for Taos Ski Valley, Inc. As the Mountain Events Manager, you will be asked to bring fresh ideas and organizational skills to not leave anything about an event to chance. You will be in close contact with guests and are expected to demonstrate excellence in guest service consistently displaying respect for coworkers and guests alike. You will be responsible for developing events that align with Taos Ski Valley’s vision and mission.

Taos Ski Valley sits at over 9,000ft and you must be able to work at that elevation. Taos Ski Valley, Inc. is often a fast-paced work environment, especially during holidays and peak days. TSVI is located in a high-altitude alpine environment. Position may require travel on uneven, snow-packed, or icy terrain and may be exposed to wet, cold, and/or humid conditions. Must be able to work in close quarters and with other staff.
Physical Demands of Position Include:
Approximately 50% of this position’s time is spent inside, 50% outside on both level/uneven terrain. Position may require travel on uneven, snow-packed, or icy terrain. The position will be required to spend long days outside in cold and snow. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. The position requires at least an intermediate level of skiing/riding ability.
