This ASX listed infrastructure and technology business is responsible for major design and development projects nationally. With a strong growth agenda and a true focus on growing and building future talent, they are seeking an additional Talent Acquisition Team Leader in a role that combines hands-on recruitment delivery, leadership, and strategic business engagement.

Within a broad HR Centre of Excellence model, the TA team is a well established and highly regarded function and this newly created role will join at a crucial time of growth for the business. Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, the TA Team Leader will be key in the development of initiatives that support a continuous improvement mindset across the function while also building strong and strategic relationships across the HR team and business to set and drive future talent planning activities.

In this role you will:

• Lead a small team of TA Advisors within a broader TA function – combining hands-on delivery for their corporate portfolios with strategic talent planning and the implementation and management of TA projects in collaboration with peers and stakeholders nationally
• Support and develop process improvements and efficiencies across the operational aspects of TA, utilise their existing suite of systems and tools effectively while also contributing to EVP and other strategic marketing initiatives to drive attraction and sourcing objectives
• Play a key role in the continued development of best practice TA – contributing new ideas and blending solutions to support a forward-thinking and strategic TA model

We will be looking for:

• Previous experience in internal Talent Acquisition functions and demonstrated capability in a hands-on, end-to-end recruitment environment – from attraction and sourcing through to assessment, onboarding and talent planning
• Previous leadership experience either as functional TA Leader or as TA Team Lead with the capacity and desire to develop and mentor team members
• Capability to straddle operational and strategic delivery – demonstrates a hands-on approach as well as the ability to engage in long-term talent objectives
