With a new and highly successful parent company, an authentic and inspiring new Chief People Officer, the business is looking to build HR capability through the implementation of a new operating model and investment in a number of key roles.

The Talent Acquisition (TA) Manager is a newly created role which will report into the Head of People Experience, whose scope also includes Talent Management, Development, EVP, and D&I. Historically, there has not been a TA function until now, so the TA Manager will build the team from the ground up, initially focused on the corporate functions, with support to be provided to enable the other parts of the business later.

The key deliverables include designing the function including people, processes and systems, ensuring rigour, consistency, and governance in how recruitment is undertaken in the business. The role will review the viability of the current ATS, considering optimisation or alternative fit for purpose solutions. Stakeholder education will be another key priority for this role and team, designing and determining how this is implemented. The TA team will work with peers to bring the EVP to life through the attraction process, among other strategic TA initiatives.

With broad, senior, ideally greenfield TA leadership experience in either retail, financial services, technology, or other industries where agile ways of working are the norm, you will have demonstrated success in sourcing, attracting and retaining corporate talent. Inquisitive, motivated, and passionate, you understand what good looks like and can add value quickly. The ability to build and maintain strong strategic working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders will be key, as will the gravitas you bring to ensure credibility and trust is established effectively.
