Senior Document Controller – Building – Construction – Birmingham (North Solihull)

Opportunity to join one of the UK’s most successful Building Main Contractors.

Seeking a Senior Document Controller, who will play a lead role that they can build a team around moving forwards, As super user, you will be playing an important role helping train others on the Electronic Data Management Systems.

Projects will be a range of building sector projects including Commercial, Industrial, Mixed Use, Leisure and Residential schemes, large multi million pound projects. (Also open to consider candidates from other building project sectors or even Civils or Power).

Ideally seeking a candidate who already has experience using the software – “Asite” but not essential, so failing that experience using other systems and be willing to learn Asite will be considered.

Requirements: 

To be considered for this Document Controller role you must meet the following criteria:

– Previous employment as a Document Controller or Technical Administrator.
– Ideally Previous experience working in a Building or Civil Engineering Sector environment.
– High level of communication skills. 

Role:

– Manage the document control system. 
– Maintenance of accurate records including all drawings and other construction documents Issued through each stage of the project. 
– Ensure that every drawing or other design document is received by the relevant trades and consultants. 

-Be able to train others on the Electronic Data Management System.
