Talenza have been engaged by one of Australia s leading banking companies to source a Training Manager to join their financial crime team.

As the Training Manager, you will oversee and manage the training and development of programs within the business.

Responsibilities

  • Identify the training needs of the organisation through assessments, surveys, and discussions with various departments and employees.
  • Design and develop training programs and materials such as training modules, e-learning courses, and other resources.
  • Develop and manage the training budget, including allocating funds for training programs, materials, and resources.
  • Coordinate the delivery of training programs. This might involve leading training sessions or overseeing trainers and facilitators.
  • Continuously assess the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements based on feedback and results.
  • Keep up to date with training technology and software and ensure that the organisation’s training methods are current and effective.
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand their specific training needs and coordinate training initiatives accordingly.
  • Assist in the development of individual employee training plans and career development opportunities.
  • Help manage organisational change by providing training and development programs to support employees during transitions.
  • Ensure that training programs align with the needs of the organisation and contribute to its overall goals and strategies.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree in Training and Development or related field preferred.
  • Experience in training and development, with a track record of designing and implementing successful programs.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency with training software and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
