A leading finance organisation is looking for a Technical Business Analyst with strong experience in working with Data in the finance industry to support ongoing projects involving data migration. This is a permanent opportunity with many in house benefits including a highly flexible wfh option, as the team is dispersed through out Australia, however the candidate must be based in QLD to meet with the team every now and again. Your responsibilities will include

• Supporting and ensuring the successful completion of analytical, building, testing and deployment tasks of software product features.
• Ability to work with various stakeholders to gather, validate and articulate both technical and business needs & requirements.
• Be an expert in facilitating and communicating with technical stakeholders
• Work effectively with teams and stakeholders that are geographically distributed
• Be accountable and work with your team to deliver high quality of work and ensure project deliverables

Essential requirements of the ideal candidate

• Tertiary qualifications in business, science, engineering or data engineering
• Power Curve Collections or Collections knowledge is required, will consider relevant experience with FICO or Katabat
• Must have strong technical (SQL) experience
• Experience in Banking/Finance industry
• Proficient in working with large data including data warehouse or data lake
• Must have experience with data migration project for a large enterprise
• API experience
• Experience with Agile Project environment
• Proven delivery track record and references
• Knowledge of data ing visualisation platforms ideal, e.g. Cognos, Tableau
• Ability to take initiative and be self motivated
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements to the tech team
