Leading healthcare provider with a strong national presence. Our client has a strong focus on patient care and technological advancements, and is at the forefront of their industry. In this IT Director role, you will be a key asset to the CIO in overseeing the management of patient centres.

About your Role:
ing to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), the IT Director for Patient Centres is responsible for managing the organisation’s Patient Information systems; and additionally the systems integration and simplification strategy and delivery. This includes overseeing the strategy, design, and implementation of robust and scalable integrations frameworks and solutions which will align with the organisations continuous growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide strategic guidance, and ensure the delivery of systems integrations & simplifications projects with an assigned project team which includes technology & medical record SME’s.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead the Patient Centre & Information System function
• Use your knowledge of contemporary approaches to work to lead our clients ways of working, towards end-to-end delivery of projects and BAU initiatives.
• Utilise your leadership experience to empower your team to add value and deliver projects aligned to the businesses strategy and business goals.
• Strategic decision making and liaison with the organisations executive team.
• Meeting with business, technical and medical stakeholders to build relationships and ensure successful delivery.
• Work across a diverse portfolio including HR, Medical, Billings, Procurement and Technology.
• Own and be accountable for strategy and delivery for end-to-end patient information systems.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

• You must have strategic leadership & technology experience within the healthcare sector.
• Strong leadership abilities with a track record of effectively managing and developing teams.
• Experience with systems integration technologies including medical billing, patient records and information systems required.
• A proven track record in successful delivery, including management of change.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels including c-suite.
• Relevant qualifications e.g Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, MCSE) are a plus.
