As Head of Service Delivery, you will be a key asset and oversee the teams that manage the organisations support function.

About Your Role

ing to an IT Director, the Head of IT Service Delivery will be responsible for the teams that manage the organisations Level 1 Service Desk and Level 2 Support functions. Additionally this role will manage third party support partners and is critical to oversee and ensure the delivery of technology support services are at a high level so that stakeholders can efficiently access systems.

This is a leadership role in an company with more than 2000+ employees with various business units and an emerging growth plan. The incumbent will provide effective team management, set the direction for the service delivery function and build and nature relationships across the business.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead the IT Service Delivery function including managing Level 1 Service Desk, Level 2 IT Support and external contract resources
• Use your knowledge of contemporary approaches to work to lead our ways of working
• Ensure the delivery of technology support services at a high level for users
• Ensuring teams are following ITIL processes where possible and developing SLA’s
• Support the business across multiple timezones to prioritise, escalate and resolve requests in a timely manner

Key Skills & Experience

• A minimum of 5+ years leadership experience
• High level of understanding of desktop and server operating systems
• Extensive application support experience, with medical, MedTech or health industry experience highly desirable.
• Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities & tools.
• Working knowledge of ITIL principles and processes.
• Strong leadership abilities with a track record of effectively managing and developing teams.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Relevant qualifications e.g Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, MCSE) are a plus.
