About the role:
Drawing on your experience in handling multiple entities, and underpinning the values of providing a confidential and efficient service, the role will include but not limited to:

Prepare budgets and cashflows for business planning and management purposes.

• Prepare documents relating to QBCC and PQC Licence applications and renewals.
• Work with a diverse range of long-term clients and partners to deliver timely and effective outcomes and meet challenging objectives / timeframes.
• Identify, build, and maintain formal and informal networks and productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage and understand the needs of your own client portfolio.
• Provide support and advice to clients on MYOB/Xero and other accounting systems.

About you: *
You are a strong communicator, with polished accounting skills and know how to build relationships with key stakeholders to gather the information you need and to influence a course of action. Your experience will include:

Public Practice exposure, you’ve spent 3 years in an accounting firm/practice environment within Business Services.

• Degree qualified with a Bachelor of Accounting / Business (Accounting).
• Advanced excel skills and exposure to MYOB based software.
• High knowledge of Australian Tax Law, Corporations Law and Trust Law.
• High practical knowledge and understanding of Accounting Principles (prepare financial accounts, income tax returns, activity statements, fringe benefits tax returns, financial documentation for business sale purposes).
• A high level of accuracy and a keen eye for detail.
• Motivated and naturally embraces a “team-spirit” environment.
