What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Schedule surgery-related appointments for patients by telephone
- Ensure all necessary information regarding surgeries is provided to patients
- Document appointments in EHR and notify the appropriate team members
- Obtain surgery clearances from other doctors when needed
- Assist in training and coaching new or current employees
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Minimum of one (1) year related training and/or experience
- Knowledge of Word Processing software, Spreadsheet software, Internet software, EHR, and EPM medical software
- Must be able to lift and/or move a minimum of 15 pounds
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of patient health information
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
