What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Answer telephone in a timely and professional manner
• Schedule patients for testing/procedures/admissions through the scheduling module
• Obtain and enter accurate insurance information
• Inform patients or physician office staff of any carrier that is out of network or may result in a decrease in benefits
• Maintain knowledge of scheduling s and ensure department readiness

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• None required education
• 1 or more years of work experience in scheduling preferred
• Proficiency in PC applications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic mathematical and transcription abilities
