What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Coordinate and implement activities supporting accurate and timely document management, adherence to tight project timelines, and protection of PHI
• Support the team by requesting, retrieving, processing, tracking, and organizing incoming Medical Records which will be reviewed by the clinical and/or coding teams
• Ensure accurate and timely record uploads, compliance with processes to protect PHI, and effective tracking of records and record requests
• Retrieval of medical records via fax, mail, remote electronic medical record access, or onsite visits at the provider location
• Assist internal team and provider groups to troubleshoot any logistical or technical issues regarding records requests, retrieval, or storage

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Associate Degree in Health Information or related field and 1 year experience, or 3 years of experience in lieu of a degree
• Document Management Experience
• Insurance Payor Experience

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• 0-2 years of experience as an Rx Technician or Customer Service Representative in a healthcare-related service
