Senior Conference Producer – B2B Conferences & Events

Hybrid working – 2 days a week office based in Central London

Salary up to £50K+Generous Profit Share

Our events client is a leading and highly established international b2b conference & events company. They produce and own their large-scale physical conferences and niche invite only business events. The business delivers events globally, with a market leading portfolio covering multiple industries including finance, retail, and pharmaceuticals. They have a network of international offices and are a brand renowned for producing events of the highest quality.

About the Job – Senior Conference Producer

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious high performing b2b conference producer to take the next step in their events career, working alongside highly experienced and successful Conference Directors within a supportive and ambitious team. Depending on your experience you will produce up to 4 events each year, these could be a blend of established and newer events. This is an exciting opportunity with plenty of scope for the right person to be part of an ambitious and rapidly growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct phone and web-based research to identify market trends, challenges and insights and create the commercial angle for all of the events you produce
• Source and secure senior leaders to provide keynotes, join panels and contribute to interactive roundtables
• Deliver cross-functional briefings and project manage your events
• Attend and support with the conferences, this may require overseas travel.
• Provide an outstanding customer experience

The Person

We are looking for at least 18 months of direct b2b commercial conference production experience. As a Conference Producer, you will be responsible for all phases of project management during the event cycle. Your key skills & experience will include:

• At least 18 months of experience working as a B2B Conference Producer in a commercially focused conference and events business.
• You will be a highly skilled communicator, able to engage & build relationships with senior business professionals
• Possess high-level research & analysis skills & experience – strong telephone-based market research skills.
• Be an inquisitive interviewer – asking relevant questions
• Have a track record of success in meeting deadlines and KPI’s
• Be innovative – you have proven experience in identifying new business trends and ideas
• Creative writing skills – able to produce compelling copy and communicate with senior business professionals
