Job Title: Marketing Manager
Location: Raleigh, NC (100% On-site)
Duration: 6-month contract
Position Summary:
The Sr. Manager drives key product innovation and branding initiatives for the customer portfolio in the mass, drug, grocery, and ecommerce channels. This leader is expected to employ a full range of marketing tools, including brand positioning, research, product development, claims development, and package design. They are responsible for staying current on consumer, customer, competitor, and product insights, and utilizing those insights to craft multi-year brand plans. The capacity for strategic understanding and the ability to turn that into action plans to achieve strategic goals is critical.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Champion a Marketing perspective within the organization
· Demonstrate marketing acumen across the business including product, distribution, price, promotion, and brand positioning
· Deliver key marketing projects across a range of the marketing mix, including marketing research, claims and iconography development, package graphic design, and digital marketing
· Lead execution of all product and packaging launches/refreshes for the retail baby brand portfolio with excellence and timeliness
· Utilize analytics and insights to inform the product definition and strategic direction of the brand portfolio
· Develop deep understanding of customer and retail channel dynamics
· Collaborate with Category Marketing and European counterparts to gain efficiencies in product and claims development
· Provide strategic guidance to the Sales team including development of selling materials and support on customer calls as appropriate
· Analyze the marketplace and identify key growth opportunities that can deliver sustainable competitive advantage and profitability
· Maintain a deep knowledge of technical specifics to enable effective marketing programs and creative execution.
· Maintain cross functional relationships with the NPD/Innovation team, Category Marketing, and Insights point of contact
· Effective collaboration, teamwork orientation, and excellent interpersonal skills
· Good communicator at all levels of the organization, in both written and verbal formats
· Competency in persuasively presenting ideas, plans, and point-of-view
· Keen attention to detail

· Lead and execute key stage gate projects to support brand plans
· Manage partnerships with a variety of internal and external agencies and vendors
· Lead, inspire and coach subordinates to high performance
· Create a supportive climate for subordinates. Coach and mentor subordinates in the spirit Values and Mission to assure that business, organization and employee engagement is considered.
Position Requirements:
· BS/BA required in marketing, business, or related field; MBA preferred
· 6-10 years of brand/marketing experience with 2 years of consumer brand leadership experience
Experience with consumer-led product development projects, preferably in healthcare/personal care/infant care

Pay: $50.00 – $60.00 per hour
