TAKUMI Hiring for VP of Sales at New York, United States Full Time

The ideal candidate will be a strategist and global leader able to drive the company’s revenue through new client relationships and partnerships. The candidate needs to be able to implement the company vision, mission and long-term goals for growth through new business wins and incremental revenue.

The candidate will lead Takumi’s business sales across all markets, designing an efficient strategy for each market to drive the highest net new revenue. Working with the CEO and VP of Client Partnerships. You will be managing all the Sales Teams across all markets and as such will have full responsibility to deliver the net new target and manage the performance of the sales team towards their individual and team targets.

The goal is to ensure the company is constantly moving towards fulfilling its short-term and long-term revenue targets and does not diverge from its strategic guidelines.

The role is responsible for identifying and implementing new revenue streams through diversification of our creative services capabilities, insight and technology services which we provide to clients and partners.

The expectation is that the individual will not just lead the team to success but also individually contribute to the company growth targets through long term strategic relationships.

The role is accountable for connecting Sales to Client Services and Technology to drive value for Takumi.

• Full Responsibility for the sales targets on a quarterly and annual basis
• Management of the team across all markets
• Set the strategy for the sales team, approved by the C-Suite
• Develop and execute the company’s sales strategies in order to attain the goals of the board and shareholders
• Analyse problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth when it comes to sales
• Maintain high-level contact and communication with all relevant contacts at the assigned agencies/advertisers, to uncover existing and new opportunities
• Making sure you and the team are holding relevant meetings per week
• Deliver a quarterly business plan on team performance, strategies and insights and present to the C suite
• Drive YOY revenue growth in line with business objectives to increase company value at point of sale
• Ensure all Sales information is correctly inputted into our sales system
• Be in market at events to raise awareness of Takumi where needed on panels and trade shows
• Control the sales team cost budgets and devise strategy for attending necessary events to drive incremental ROI
• Set OKR’s for team members to drive growth towards company goals
• Analyse outreach data to come up with proposals for growth in category
• Work closely with the CCO and VP of Client Service to adapt and monitor the go to market strategy and offering
• Work with 3rd party partners involved in driving sales
• Ensure all up to date sales material is being delivered through marketing
• Work with client service on large ticket retention deals that require more thorough input
• Oversee UK and EMEA sales strategy and performance
• Design and implement process to deliver efficient, cost effective and profitable sales to drive business forward

Requirements

Organised, process driven, numerate and articulate

• Experience of driving revenue in relevant markets and industry
• Experience of growing teams and coaching sales teams
• Experience of advising clients on influencer best practice across all their multi-platform social/influencer activity – industry knowledge and POV
• Implementing commercial creative initiatives for increasing multi-platform engagement both on behalf of the client and for the agency
• Proven experience as a sales leader
• Demonstrable experience in developing strategic and sales plans
• Thorough knowledge of market changes and forces that influence the company
• Strong understanding of commercials and measures of performance
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
