Takeda Manufacturing USA Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Innovation Specialist in Cambridge, MA with the following requirements: Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering or related field or foreign equivalent degree and 4 years related experience. REQUIRED SKILLS: Utilize principles like chemical engineering, process engineering, bio/chemical techniques, cellular techniques, mechanics, equipment design, sensitivity analysis, control strategies & good manufacturing practices for technology transfer, industrializing and de-risking manufacturing of advanced technologies (e.g: cell & gene therapy) (3 yrs). Apply structured problem solving and process improvement methodologies (DMAIC, Agile, Six Sigma, Shingo, A3) to drive global manufacturing network productivity and product quality improvement (3 yrs). Apply management principles & frameworks to drive strategic decision making (Hoshin Kanri, X-Matrix, RACI, Scenario Analysis, performance indicators, voice of customer, communication plans, COGM & budgeting) to define cell and gene therapy network strategy, support roadmap development and deployment (2 yrs). Work with programming languages (PowerShell, Python, R), advanced analytical tools (JMP, Statistica, Ansys, PowerBI) and/or enterprise systems (Comsol. Simio, MES, Labware-LIMS, BMRAM, Unicorn, PI) to build simulation models, COGS model and digital twin models to validate development, identify future capability requirements and perform process optimization &/or business process automation (3 yrs).
